Activated Sludge Models

This module is useful in sizing activated sludge biological processes. The model is specifically designed for nitrification and denitrification applications where ammonia conversion or total nitrogen removal is desired. The model may also be used to confirm the operating requirements for carbonaceous BOD removal systems. Use the model to evaluate an existing system or to size new biological reactors. In addition to reactor sizing, additional process requirements including solids generation and aeration system sizing requirements are also estimated.
